I have the new hose in place but cannot get the end that goes to the back of the pump to thread onto the pump. I've taken the pump off and checked that the fitting is the right size, and it is. No problem getting it on with the pump off but when the pump is on, I can't get it to thread.

Hi,

I attached a picture below. Is that what you are seeing as far as design on the vehicle? There really isn't a trick to get these on. Something isn't aligning when the pump is installed, and it certainly can be frustrating.

If you haven't tried already, can you manage to get the line to start threading with the pump in place but all the bolts loose?

Let me know.

Joe
