Where is the power steering fluid reservoir and do I need to flush it out before filling it with new fluid? The car is making "the noise" and that's why I think it needs to be flushed out?

A flush is not required to add fluid. The pump will make noise if the fluid is low as it sucks air in. That is what causes the noise.

Here is a guide to perform one if you wish to do so:

Good afternoon,

The tank is part of the pump itself. the pump is located at the back bottom of the motor. You will need small hands to get down there.

You need to flush the entire system of all fluid to get the dirt and debris out of the system.

Do not be surprised if it does not work. It sounds like the vanes are bad from lack of fluid. The pump may have to be replaced.
