Not all the time but more and more when I turn to the right more at slow speeds it's like the power steering stops for a second. When backing up and cutting my wheels to the left the same thing.but the power steering pump is full of oil and works fine any other time. I am worried the problem could be more dangerous than the power steering pump. Can you please give me some sort of idea what it is? Thank you

Good afternoon,

Make sure the belt is tight enough. It could be loose causing this issue.

The other possibility is the rack and pinion assembly. There may be a pressure issue internally causing this as well.
