First time I've run into this issue in decades of working on cars. When I hit the brakes the power steering goes out. After releasing the brake and revving the engine, it comes back. Any idea? 1D7HU18D13S307275

Good morning, EDWILLIAMS2018,

I found a TSB on a revised power steering system bleeding procedure. It sounds like it might have some air in it. I am adding this TSB for you. I would give it a shot at the very least to rule it out.

When you are hitting the brakes is the vehicle sitting still or are you in motion?

I would try the bleeding procedure and go from there.

Thank you,
Brendon
