Power steering

I just put a new power steering pump in my truck and its whining when I turn there is enough fluid in there does the pump just need to break in or could there be another problem

You have to park it long enough for all the air to rise to the top. It's not uncommon for these reman pumps, especially on a Ford to whine for up to 500 miles. They used to pack a notice with the pump to that effect.
