Need to transfer EVO solenoid from the old pump to the new pump are there special tools a special way to remove it? I can't find any information.

The EVO solenoid is part of the pump. It isn't a transferable part because it is fitted internally to match the pump. As such there are no instructions on it's transfer. A new or rebuilt pump should have had it already installed and only needed the reservoir connected up. There was a pump that didn't have an EVO for another model. Is it possible you have the wrong pump?

There is no official process to do this because the EVO solenoid should come on the new pump. Did your pump not have one on it?
Take a look at the picture below. This is how the pump should come with variable assist. I don't show an option for non EVO so where did you get this pump? Was it a used pump? Can you get a picture of it or the part number and manufacturer and I can see if we got the right pump?
