It’s a failure of the power steering. I’m wondering if it’s the pressure switch vs. the pump? No loss of fluid. How do I determine the correct component to replace?

So I am assuming that you don't have any power assist. If this is the case it is most likely the pump. However, to see if you have an issue with the switch we need to check for codes. More than likely you will have a P0551 if the switch is the issue. To confirm it is the pump, you need to test the pump performance. I attached the test. Let me know if you have questions. Thanks
