Power steering pump removal

I read how to remove a power steering pump. Got my tools, took off belt, removed the three bolts. The pump will not come off. Also took off the hoses, it will not move at all. Don’t understand there is nothing holding it on. Lee

Good afternoon,

Did it release from the block?

There are two guide sleeves that the pump mounts on and it may be stuck on those guides.

Try taking a hammer and tap on the pump to get it to release.
