I recently got the hose and the pump for the power steering done. Today I drove it and it was fine up until around 4:00 pm. I added more fluid and that drained out almost instantly. What could this problem be?

Sounds like someone left an o-ring out or lines loose causing it. See if it is coming out from top or around steering rack by transmission. See picture. Then take it back to whoever fixed it first.

I actually do not understand the image. Can you explain it to me? It comes from under the car, if that helps I cannot see it come out until I walk away and there is a puddle.

Sorry, it is not a very good image. Where the one arrow is, is your steering box where the line goes in and other arrow is from power steering pump where the connect. If it comes from bottom of car then it could be leaking from box going down or the new line may have a hole in it etc. Take it back it should be fixed for free if a defective part or the mechanic messed something up.
