Power seats not working properly

Okay, my driver seat goes down but won't come up to help get in a good driving position but, when I take out the key it automatically goes back to its original position. I believe it has that memory system, please help.

More than likely this is an issue with the switch, but we need to check the voltage coming from the switch to find out if we have voltage going to the motor.

If not, then the switch needs to be replaced. Here is a guide that will help with this:

If there is, then we need to go to the motor and check for voltage. If there is voltage at the motor, then the motor is the issue.
