Power loss on acceleration

When accelerating loses power. Wait a few minutes then it starts. Have had into our mechanic and they cannot find anything.

HI TERRI,

Yes, this sounds like a classic crankshaft position sensor problem, these sensors can go bad intermittently and be hard to detect from a mechanics point of view. This is because the computer will not catch this problem.

When the engine stalls it will be a fuel or ignition spark problem.
