Reduced engine speed light on

When I'm driving it's like I take my foot off the gas and the reduced engine speed comes on

Scan for codes also clean throttle plate on both sides with choke cleaner

No codes? There has to be if you have power losss. If auto parts won't pick the code up then take to a pro put his scanner on it. It may be something with abs etc. Something has to causing this.

Ticket to the Chevrolet dealership they put it on the scanner set it was my wiring harness charge me $300 still doesn't change the gas pedal change the little box that Goes to throttlebody still does it

Not likely that is mechanical. Have battery checked for condition including load test weak batteries do screwy things now adays. Also pull dist cap and see if rotor moves if it does then the dist gear is worn out and you'll need another dist then a pro will have to set it in with his scanner so cam/crank sensor are in sync. Most places check battery for free

May be a stupid question but this is a vortex engine it has cool packs I don't see a distributor I guess there could be something wrong with the battery but I just put it in six months ago I've been dealing with this for three years

Sorry to keep bothering you but with the reduced engine power lot come so I can pull over and shut the truck off for a couple of minutes start it back up It runs fine for a while

Is this a V8? Engine stuff doesn't come through on the new site here? If it is do a wiggle test on crank sensor and cam sensor the connector may be bad. Otherwise I have no other suggestions.

The crank sensor is on side of block by starter cam senslor top center of block at rear

If it were a sensor then it would throw a code it may be the throttle body but without checking I don't want to have you buy an exspensive part like that.
