Had timing belt changed and spark plugs found out guy did not use tool required to time it. Two months later had diagnostic done it is out of time. It has a leak in the mass air flow sensor and where ever that is. It runs okay sometimes but if you turn on AC or heater it loses power and lunges. Goes in tomorrow for the timing belt to be redone with tool. Is this going to fix problem? Have had AC worked on five times now. It sometimes blows cold then does not and does not hardly blow when it acts up.

Re-timing and repairing the vacuum leak at the MAF sensor should fix the running issues. It probably will not do much for the AC problem though. That system is electrically controlled. That fault sounds more like blend door issues.

What does blend door issues mean? I have had all the coolant emptied out and then refilled. Had filters replaced even cabin filter. Ran freezing cold for awhile then started blowing barely and hot it will start out cold then goes hot and barely blows.

The blend door controls how the air flows through the system, either through the heater core if you select hot or the AC core if you select cold or anywhere in between. If the door actuator fails you can get air going across both cores and the temperature is basically at the mercy of where the actuator is.

The actuators are buried behind the dash. To get to them you need to pull the dash out. You would probably be better off finding a shop or dealer with a OEM level scan tool and seeing if the tool can diagnose if the problem is in the actuators or in the control head. It should have trouble code abilities as well as some bi-directional controls.
