I have replaced my battery and alternator, drove it for about a week and half, then lost power again to everything electrical. the engine still runs when this happens until I turn it off. what do I look for to fix this problem? I really do not want to get rid of it. any advice would be appreciated.

Is battery going dead every time? Will engine start back up after it is turned off with key? Was alternator tested after being installed?

My alternator was tested after I put it in. my battery is going dead every time, it starts after I turn it off when I have a full charge. the battery tested good too, the car ran good for two weeks before acting up again. I was told it might be a solenoid, but I do not know.

This sounds like it is a battery cable problem, try moving the both cables around with the key on to see if there is any electrical disturbance.

Please let us know happens so it will help others.
