I have the car listed above Coupe with 292,000 miles. About a month ago I noticed when driving and touching the brake pedal, the radio would cut out and reboot after a front and rear strut replacement. We thought it was the alternator so that was replaced. No change. Now the problem has worsened, the speedometer, tachometer will go to zero and back to normal when brakes are applied, and the temperature gauge will max out and everything including headlights are dim when turned on. We have replaced the alternator, brake switch, ABS switch, battery, turn signal switch, multifunction switch and still there is some sort of draw. The engine runs fine, no stalling.

Can I ask if all of the brake lights are functioning normally, none are dull or dim? If so, I would use a voltameter on the battery when pressing the brake pedal and what the voltage, this guide can help:

We are looking for a large dip in voltage when the brakes are depressed. I would try unplugging the brake light failure sensor and check the trailer light connector on the left side rear of the trunk near the taillight housing to make sure it is not damaged. Here is the location of the sensor, thanks for the video, it helps. Check out the images (below). Let us know what you find.
