Power door locks not working. you can hear them cycling when you turn the car on but they will not lock with the fob or the button on the door. New battery installed. Fob programmed to the car. when you push down the driver's door locks only the back door on the driver side locks.

This is not a fault with the remote control system as manually it is also not functioning correctly. I would suggest scanning for trouble codes within the Body Control Module system.
Possible causes for such problems are :
1. Wiring circuit. Connections could be bad somewhere and if any repairs were done prior to this, those are the areas to check. A poor ground would also cause this.
2. Faulty Body Control Module.
3. Bad door lock actuators.
