I was driving through a parking lot and it was raining so all the potholes were filled with water so I couldn't tell how deep it was and I hit one and all of a sudden my car didn't want to move. When I tried to move it out of the way it makes a horrible metal on metal grinding noise. I noticed too that I put it in reverse it's just a slight humming noise, but when I go to drive forward it's a loud way worse noise. Wondering what this could be and if it's easy to replace?

It sounds like a CV axle has failed or it popped out of the transmission. Can you please shoot a quick video with your phone so we can hear the noise? that would be great. You can upload it here with your response. Here is a guide on how to replace/reinstall the axle with instructions below for your car:

Check out the diagrams (below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.

Found out what it is. The coil spring on the strut is completely broke and the jagged part on the end of it took out big chunks of rubber on the inside of my tire. What would have caused that to happen? Because the pothole I didn't even hit it going fast, it was deep though. You'd have to change the whole strut I'm assuming?

Yep, it happens. Here is how you can change the strut and spring out in the diagrams below. Check out the diagrams (below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem. You can get a replacement strut with spring from Amazon.
