Possible timing chain

Car ran fine. I pull out of a street, car doesn't seem to want to shift gears. I drive it very slowly about a quarter of a mile. Turn in my driveway and it shuts off. Now will not turn over. Help me please.

Hello my name is Dave.

My first thought is voltage although there are a great many of issues that could cause these symptoms. I would start with a battery and alternator test, I have included a link to our tutorials on these procedures.
