After topping up levels and making a 30 mile journey checked coolant and felt it slippery on my gloves.

Good morning,
Can you post some pictures of the coolant so I can see it? If it is oil in the coolant, then there is a good chance the block has a cracks in it.
When there is coolant in the oil, that is an indication of a head gasket but in this case, it could be a block issue.
