Hey all,

I was trying to install some Rough Country lights onto my vehicle listed above, went to hook the lights up and test them, started ratcheting on the positive terminal, struck metal with the ratchet, loud pop, big spark, and now I can’t turn over. Headlights and push button start lights are the only ones that work, everything else is dead. Tried jumping, nothing. Pretty sure it’s the fuse that’s blown, but I would like further advice as to what it could possibly be.

Hello from Latrobe. LOL It really appears you took out the main 125-amp fuse. See pic below from what you sent me.

If you look at pic 2, it shows the power supply from that fuse and it goes to several other fuses which is likely the reason nothing, but the lights are working.

Remove that fuse and confirm the amperage and replace it with the same type/amperage and let me know if that resolves the issue.

Take care

Joe
