Possible blend door actuator

The heater stopped blowing hot air. I checked the coolant and it was only slightly lower than the max line on the reservoir. I topped it off and it started blowing hot air. It worked for a few days and then it stopped again. The coolant is full both heater hoses are hot at the firewall. The temperature of the coolant is at normal levels. I'm not hearing any noise from the dash clicking or otherwise. Everything seems to be in working order other than the fact that I'm not getting any heat. Could you please tell me where the blend door actuator is located and how to replace it? My car is the s model.

Hi,

Considering the vehicle should have dual climate control, that would mean both actuators (left and right) failed. Did this happen all at once?

What I'm going to recommend is to remove the one on the driver's side and see if there is any movement in the motor. Here are the directions for removal. The attached pic correlates with the direction

Refer to: Climate Control System Health and Safety Precautions (100-00 General Information, Description and Operation).
Remove the accelerator pedal.
Refer to: Accelerator Pedal (310-02 Acceleration Control, Removal and Installation).
Disconnect the electrical connector, remove the retainers and the driver side temperature door actuator.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
