Need a diagram for position of hydraulic lifters on a flex engine 5.3L.

By flex engine are you referring to the Active Fuel Management engine? If that is the case, cylinder 1, 4, 6, 7 are the AFM cylinders. It is also called Displacement on Demand system. I attached the info about the system for your review. Let me know if you need more info about this. Thanks
