2006 Other Porsche Models downshift fron 5th to 1st without

2006 Other Porsche Models 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 997 4 S and the gearbox keeps changing from 5th to 1st whilst underway.
What's the problem and what should I do?

Hi there,

This will need the attention of a Porsche trans specialist, i would get this inspected ASAP as this radical down shift may do damage beyond the original problem.
