Thank you for the donation.
I will need the model and engine to be able to help.. On all Porsche engines there is a number of special tools required to work on the timing belt, there is a special belt tension gauge required to set this correctly, do you have access to one of these tension gauges?

Hi Mark , thanks for your quick reply. I have a 1990 944 s2 cabrio 4 cylinder engine. I don't have the tools yet.
