2001 Porsche Boxster headlights

Just bought this car and the first time I drove it at night thought the lights were not on due to so dim. Not lighting up the road at all. On brights they are fine but will not lock on in bright mode. Any ideas?

Hello .. thanks for the donation .. much appreciated Are you saying that with the lights on SIDE/PARK and LO they are to dull to see ... but on high they are fine ?? have you checked the lenses are clean .. inside and out .. have you checked the alignment maybe they are set to high ? also the switch may be faulty if it will not click onto HIGH beam !! hope this helps .. let me know
