I replaced the dead battery and the hood alarm is going off when I connect the new battery. Can you tell me how to disarm it. There's a alarm key switch on the fender behind the driver's door. We've lost the key to it, but I think this is to the regular alarm.

The alarm is most likely all tied together.Look for a pin switch somewhere where the hood would close it when it is shut.If you can find it you can unplug it and it should keep it from going off.Or secure it in the down position to do the same thing
