Purchased well care for 1989 Porsche 928 S4 from Florida. Transported to New Jersey. Transporter drove off truck and I drove it one mile to my home. Ran well for a 20 year old and looks nice both in and out. Shut the car off and accidently set the factory alarm off. I shut the alarm off by putting key in driver's door. Car started and I drove it 20 feet into my garage. All this on January 26th. Car has not started since that date. I read the manual fron to back and found a possibility that my garage door openers might interfere with the transistor ignition, so I pushed the car back out of the garage , disconnected the garage door openers , but still nothing. Sooo I presently have a $9000. anchor in my driveway. Being a 63 year old retired Jersey Trooper doesn't leave alot of money for immediate repairs. I'd like to at least get it running myself so I can get it to an authorized dealer for examination.
Any help would be extreme appreciated. I've owned a number of serious performance cars which included two national recordholders in the old NHRA days, but the Porsche 928 S4 is a lot different.
Thanks for any help you can supply. PS Never issued a Porsche a summons. Appreciate class cars.

Let me attempt

Did you meant will no start due to it cranking over and not starting or just won't crank at all/nothing? Or you can try below and see what happens

Disconnect a sparkplug wire or 2 and ground it to the engine -have helper crank engine over-do you have a snapping blue spark? If so-you have a fuel related problem, check the fuel pressure to rule out the fuel filter/fuel pump/pressure regulator and listen to the injector/s are they pulsing or hook up a noid light. No snapping blue spark continue to troubleshoot the ignition system-power input to the coil/coil packs, distributor pick-up coil, ignition control module, cam and crank sensors- Note: If it doesn't apply disregard it
