I purchased a flooded vehicle that was also part of a theft loss. I'm not sure on how much was flood or how much was flood. But the car has some body work needed due to the loss.

I don't have a key so I understand I will have to have the new key programed to the car while the car goes to the dealer.

Im going to investigate on how high the water mayhave gone including cleaning the terminals on the computer under the seat......Other than changing the motor oil, fuel and other fluids what else can I do before I dump a lot of money into this project? Otherwise I may just run it through a salvage auction.

New cars and water is not a good mix my friend. Without actually seeing the car it is difficult to say if the water is going to be an issue, but my gut says tow that thing across the line at the auction.
