1980 Porsche 911 Power Windows - blowing fuse

With car off, I replace the fuse for the power windows. Turn key to "On" and all windows and switches work perfectly.

Turn on ignition and passenger window goes down about 3/4" with touching the switch, before the fuse burns out.

Repeat process, same result.

Where to start looking for this gremlin?

Hi there,

If the window is over tight and slow to move this can over load the motor and blow the fuse, check this first, if so you can get specific window channel lube this may help, start here.
