My driver’s side headlight won’t pop up. Passengers do. Both lights came on. I’ve replaced the motor gears on both sides. If I turn manual knob on driver's side motor even just one turn, then try using switch, both will pop up all day long. But the next day, the driver's side didn’t open again. I’ve replaced the headlight control module. Any suggestions?

I would replace the motor again, is sounds like you got a bad one, one of the armature poles is not working this is why you must turn the headlight motor to get it to work, but to be on the safe side recheck the power and grounds for the system I have included how in a guide below and the headlight motor wiring diagrams are in the images below to help you see how the system works.

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what happens.

Thank you for so much information. I replaced the motor with a Genuine GM part, and it seems to be working as it should. If over time it stops working, I’ll be back for more assistance.
