I have no engine check light but whenever i switch off my car A/C the performance of the engine goes down drastically. Poor acceleration, engine stalling and sometimes the exhaust pipe throws out extreme hot air.

Please let me know what can be the issue..

It sounds like the catalytic converter is clogged up but to be sure this guide can help us confirm the issue:

You can try removing the primary oxygen sensor to see if it runs better. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

Hi,

I'm struggling to tie the A/C and performance issues together, so please bear with me.

When you scanned for diagnostic trouble codes, did you scan the can-bus? Also, hot air from the exhaust is normal. Do you feel it is excessive?

Here is a link showing how to scan the can-bus. Let me know if this was done.

Next, I need to know if there are any strange odors, smoke from the exhaust, or sounds when the performance is lost.

Let me know.
