I have the vehicle listed above slt-2. Lately I’ve been having trouble getting it to accelerate. I just had a brand new transmission put in in June and this problem seems a little different. It seems to take a little longer to kick in. Except when I’m going up a hill, then it accelerates perfectly. What could make this happen? I noticed most people have the opposite problem, they have trouble accelerating going uphill.

Hi,

Are there any rattling sounds from under the vehicle? It almost sounds like the internals in the catalytic converter are blocking air flow but when you go up hill, it moves and allows proper flow. Also, is the check engine light staying on when the engine is running?

Let me know.
