Hi,

I saw some time ago you posted a question, and maybe it's the same issue I am having with my vehicle listed above. Did you ever solve your issue with the gauges not working?

Thank you

Hi,

We received your question. I'm not sure who it was directed to, but I will try to help. If it was an older post, in some cases, people never let us know the final fix.

Do any of the gauge's work? Are there any other electrical issues with the vehicle?

Power to the logic module in the instrument cluster is powered by ignition 1 voltage. That fuse is under the hood in the fuse/relay box. I attached a pic below and highlighted the fuse. Check that fuse. In addition, confirm there is power to and from it. Here is a link you may find helpful:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-a-car-fuse

If that checks good, look up under the dash and see if the wiring harness connector to the panel is tight and nothing appears damaged.

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions. Also, let me know if this is a hatch-back or notch-back vehicle.

Take care,

Joe

Hi,

I tried a lot of fuses, but nothing worked. Battery seems fine too. The panel lights up, it's just all the dials on the gauges don't move. Any other ideas? I'm all out.

Thank you

Hi,

At this point, we need to scan the can bus to see if there is a code related to a module. Otherwise, it will become a guessing game.

CAN stands for controller area network. Basically, the different modules are tied together via a few wires. When the CAN is scanned, it retrieves codes regardless of the module storing them.

Here is a video showing how it's done:

Let me know if that is something you can have done.
