My 2005 Vibe cd player quit. I have a replacement from a donor Vibe. Is there a special code or reset required?? I have not installed it yet

I would check the fuses first, but yes, the CD player is coded and it would need to be re-coded if installed from another car.

Check your owners manual for more info, but it is likely the dealer will have to recode the new CD player.
