First I couldn't get the wheel off but your advice worked. Now the rotor is stuck and won't come off. I'm not sure how aggressive I shoould get trying to pound it off. Now what???

There is no notes in service info on the use of anything special. I would use the same method you used to get the wheel off. Put a lug nut loosely on a stud to prevent it from flying off when it does come loose. I would recommend using a dead blow, or plastic mallet. If you are not reusing the rotor, use steel. Rotate it and beat on opposing sides.
