1998 Pontiac Transport Trouble Codes

I need to know how to read the trouble codes on a 1998 Pontiac Transport Service Engine Soon light after your have jumped the "A" and "B" terminals at the ALDL.

Its an OBD2 system-you need a code reader or a scantool to read the codes.

Additionally, If you have an Autozone store near you, they'll get the codes for you for free, and if the person checking has some extra knowledge, he/she may even explain what the codes mean as well. I'd also get a Haynes or Chiltons repair manual for the vehicle...did it for mine and the repair manual has payed for itself over the years in the money I saved doing the repairs myself.
