Electrical problem
1997 Pontiac Transport 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 200k miles

Hi guys, thanks for this service. My Van's rear tail/signal lights do not work. I replaced a couple bulbs and checked the fuses. I had it working for a day and now it doesnt work. The timing of the front signal lights seems to be fast then slow or not at all. The upper middle rear brake light works but none of the lower brake lights work with the lights on or off. Any ideas?

try jiggling the hazard switch and see if the rear brake lights come on. running lights and brake lights both dont work? if so then check the ground for the socket and thats where the problem most likely lies but if its just the turn signals and brake lights then suspect bad turn signal switch. hope this helps
