Could you expand on discription ie. Where ticking comes from? Does it speed up with engine rpm?

No it does not spead up with the engine is does not get louder. It just ticks when it warms up.

Mostlikely valve lifters can try an additive or go up in vicosity

Additive _ something that is added to alter or improve
Like Wynns oil treatment. STP, Risoline, etc.
Viscosity - heavier weight motor oil
