2003 Pontiac Trans Am Trouble Code

I have a diablosport predator diagnostic tool and I periodically check for any trouble codes, recently ive been getting the trouble code, "P1637 can link ECM/ABS control module circuit networks", I am trying to figure out exactly what problem is causing this trouble code and if it is a serious problem?

DTC P1637: Output Driver Module Malfunction

May just be intermittent, try erasing codes and see if it comes back. If so, then you will need to check out the wiring at the PCM and the wiring of the alternator. Also have alternator itself tested.
