1991 Pontiac Trans Am Reverse lights

Whenever I put my car in reverse my Reverse lights flash on put then go out a second later. Not only does it make it hard to park my car after work but I think it's also illegal, Do you have any ideas?

You can start by replacing the park/neutral switch
