Transmission problem
1976 Pontiac Trans Am V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

My trans am doesn't want to shift into 2nd gear when driving down the road. It wants to go but doesn't go past 35mph or so until I keep my foot down on the accelerator. Then it will finally shift hard. Any thoughts?
