1968 Pontiac Tempest no spark

1968 Pontiac Tempest V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have been working on my 1968 pontiac tempest and can not get a spark to the coil I have replaced the coil , rotor cap, and plugs

ok. are you getting +12v to one side of the coil?

and next are you sure the points are properly hooked up and making and breaking contact?

Yes I am getting +12 volts from the coil .I am not sure about the points being hooked up properly , I will have to look into that thanks
