I have been working on my 1968 pontiac tempest and can not get a spark to the coil I have replaced the coil, rotor cap, and plugs

Ok. Are you getting +12v to one side of the coil?
And next are you sure the points are properly hooked up and making and breaking contact?

Yes I am getting +12 volts from the coil.I am not sure about the points being hooked up properly, I will have to look into that thanks
