Head Gasket Question

I have a '96 Sunfire GT, 2.4L Engine. About 150k.

Im having to replace the head gasket. Can you pls let me know just about how much it would cost me to have it professionally replaced? I normally do all my own repairs, but after replacing my water pump (6 Labor Hours) a couple of years ago, I really dont know if I wanna go through all that trouble again. If its cost effective enough, I'll just have a pro fix it.

It varies for many reasons, talk to some local shops that come recommended. Just be SURE to compare apples to apples. Anything included in one shop that another isn't doing, like shaving the heads or pressure testing them, oil change etc. Would surprize me if it ran $800.
