The car in question was salvage it was in a frontal collision and both driver and passanger bags deployed.

I've replaced both bags, inspected the wiring and clock spring. The light stayed on.

I took it to a dealer they said "no communication with sensing diagnostic module, ok with all other modules"

They want yo replace the SDM and front end sensor at a cost of $804.30.

I got the parts from a wreckers replaced them and the light is still on.
I need to get an inspection to get this car on the road
but am sure they won't let it pass with the light on.

ANY IDEAS WOULD BE APPRECIATRED!

Do not know what state your in for inspection but in PA airbags are not required for inspection. It would be worth a check. We were told that because air bags can be turned off they are not required to work. Hope this helps with your aggravation.
