2004 Pontiac Sunfire How do i change transmission fluid on

2004 Pontiac Sunfire 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I can't find the dipstick for trans fluid. How do i know that i didn't overfill ?

to change the fluid there is no real dip stick for it. you would have to get under the car and there is a plug right by the oil drain plug on the transmission, its easyier to take players and unscrew it. thats the only way to check the fliud level in the car

I'll elaborate on the answer. I'm almost certain it's an 11mm plug. If you look above the passenger side axle shaft you'll see a little plug/bolt. Make sure the transmission oil is hot and that the vehicle is level!

To top up, simply remove the red oil cap and pour fluid until it starts dripping out. Make sure to use only approved ATF.
