2004 Pontiac Sunfire Car "clicks" but the a/c tur

ok, so when i put the key into the ignition, and turn it so that the fan/radio/lights/etc... come on there is a clicking noise that seems to come from the glove box area of the car.

here is the kicker, it goes on and on, doesn't stop, until i turn on the a/c. any sugesstions??

Possible recirculation door actuator

thanks for the quick reply,

started the car and turned on the a/c in recirculation "mode" doesn't make a peep. when i turn the setting knob to regular a/c or heat it "clicks".

I even have found what is making the noise. Big question now....does this require specialty tools to remove?

Ok...help me out...what did you find out? Mine has been doing the same thing off and on for a while but as of today, it constantly does it unless I move the selector to something other than recirculate.

Any help is tremendously appreciated!
