here is the kicker, it goes on and on, doesn't stop, until I turn on the a/c. Any sugesstions?

Thanks for the quick reply,
started the car and turned on the a/c in recirculation "mode" doesn't make a peep. When I turn the setting knob to regular a/c or heat it "clicks".
I even have found what is making the noise. Big question now. Does this require specialty tools to remove?

Ok. Help me out. What did you find out? Mine has been doing the same thing off and on for a while but as of today, it constantly does it unless I move the selector to something other than recirculate.
