2004 Pontiac Sunfire approved trans fluid.

I bought Transmission fluid from Adanced Auto parts. It is for cars with over 75000 miles on them. I asked the people at Autozone to make sure of the transmission fluid, and they said any standard ATF fluid will work. Is it going to hurt my car to put this standard ATF with extras in it for higher milege cars?

No, the extra additives put in that trans fluid is to help the gears and clutches inside the trans because they are getting wear on them and putting standard atf fluid in will not do any harm to the vechile
