2003 Pontiac Sunfire head lights

I have a dim light and when I try the high beam the service indicator turns on.....is my light burning out on low beam as the high is out or is this a wiring issue?

a dim light is caused by no ground.

Thanks for the reply. I have booked the appointment to find the problem with the ground.Well I'm back from my appointment! I had a corroded ground wire located under the wiper fluid tank. The tank had to be removed to fix this. The amount to find and fix at the dealership was almost 240.00. Hope this info helps.
